GeoCel was established and incorporated in 1992. It is
owned and operated jointly by the husband and wife team of George and Celia Dy.
Both bring a unique combination of education, experience, and affiliations necessary to thrive
in the health information services industry.
Celia possesses a bachelors
degree in Nursing and many years of practical experience in the paramedical field.
Through
Celia's exposure, expert knowledge and business contacts in the field, the couple established
GeoCel. Once a small paramedical firm serving only a handful of insurance
agents in the Los Angeles area, she has positioned
GeoCel as a major paramedical firm serving primarily insurance
agencies and companies all across California
for over a decade.
George possesses a bachelors degree in Accounting and has several years of
practical experience in accounting, auditing, banking and management. Prior to
establishing GeoCel, he held the position as controller for a
well-established physician association group in the Los Angeles area. As
President and CEO of
GeoCel, George devotes most of his time seeking opportunities to
diversify services for the company's expansion. Most recently, he has been
successful in establishing partnerships/affiliations with DNA testing laboratories to serve as DNA collector
for California.
Apart from managing the company's daily operations and long-tern expansion
plans, the couple keeps busy by volunteering year-round to support a Southern
California-based non-profit corporation dedicated to raising scholarship funds
for needy college students abroad. Both served as former presidents of this
organization in past years. George also serves in an advisory capacity for
their homeowners association.
